THE PROJECT
Viking Neptune is the ninth ship in the class and represents a significant step forward in the partnership between Viking and Fincantieri focused on the creation of environmentally friendly cruise ships. On board, an experimental hydrogen fuel cell unit with a power rating of 100 kW has been installed, an important step towards the development of hydrogen technology and regulations for cruise ships.
Like its sister ships, Viking Neptune has a gross tonnage of about 47,800 tonnes, 465 cabins and can accommodate 930 passengers. It is an example of commitment to sustainability in the cruise industry.
