THE PROJECT<\/h2>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Viking Sky, the third in a series of cruise ships that the shipping company Viking Ocean Cruises ordered from Fincantieri, was delivered at the Ancona shipyard in January 2017.
\nHighly experienced naval architects and engineers designed the ship, including a team of interior designers from Smc Design in London and Rottet Studio in Los Angeles. They aimed to infuse Viking Sky with a modern Scandinavian-inspired design characterized by sophisticated yet functional elegance.
\nThe first ship in the series, Viking Star, was constructed and delivered in the spring of 2015 at the Marghera shipyard. The second, Viking Sea, took to the sea from the Ancona shipyard in the early 2016. Meanwhile, Viking Sun, the fourth unit, commenced service in the autumn of 2017.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”30px”]
